Juan Alvarenga is a concept artist and illustrator based in Los Angeles and working everywhere.

With a passion for concept design and creative problem solving, my dream has always been to become a professional artist. I studied Entertainment Design at the Art Center College of Design in 2012, and began working professionally in 2016.

My experience has largely been in the theme park and film industries, and most recently I was the lead designer at a themed entertainment design firm in the Los Angeles area. In this role, my team and I focused on translating a vision into something tangible with high quality visuals, which were tailor-made for each client or brand and exceeded their expectations. My skill set specialties are environmental design, illustrations, key art, and additionally includes storyboarding and character design.
